In a group activity, I was tasked to ring the bell a few minutes before the scheduled activity. I forgot that my watch was a good 10 minutes in advance. So what I thought was 5 minutes lead time was actually 15. I rang the bell a good five minutes before the next one, and we all trooped to the venue, only to find it locked.
